Safe Harbour Chartering, INC. (SHC)
Safe Harbour Chartering, Inc. and its associated companies, will be responsible
for Berkshire Biodiesel’s feedstock supply strategy development and
execution. SHC’s founder and President Mr. Jim Weinberg has over
twenty five years of experience in logistics management including the international
trading of vegetable oils and animal fats. SHC is a tanker logistic company
that arranges international freight on behalf of the major vegetable oil,
tropical oil and base chemical principals; providing this service between
all international markets including North and South America, South East
Asia and Europe. Established in 1989 SHC controls over $45 million in freight
annually representing well over $1 billion in product value. SHC and Mr.
Jim Weinberg, maintain a longstanding and close relationship with the major
vegetable oil and yellow grease suppliers, which is anticipated to provide
a competitive advantage as a Northeastern biodiesel producer. These relationships
include membership in the primary vegetable oil and shipping industry associations.

Balance of Plant Engineering & Design
EDM Services, Pittsfield, MA
EDM is responsible for all balance of plant engineering & design (E&D)
work where EDM will work closely with and oversee the process engineering
team in order to maintain a seamless E&D process. EDM’s responsibilities
also include the overall design and layout of the plant and
the reviews and investigations required to bring the existing structures
to current building and fire codes. EDM is a fully integrated, multidisciplinary
architectural and engineering firm located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
Incorporated in 1988, EDM provides comprehensive management and technical
services in the areas of: architectural design, planning and programming,
as well as civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and industrial engineering
and provides a wealth of regional contacts extending beyond the technical
sectors. Through EDM, Berkshire Biodiesel has been able to quickly establish
relationships with the additional technical team members required to complete
the design and construction of the Berkshire Biodiesel facilities.

Process Engineering & Design
Frazier Barnes & Associates (FBA) & Biodiesel Services Group (BSG), Memphis, TN
Berkshire Biodiesel has secured the services of FBA and its affiliate
BSG to complete the process engineering and design work associated with
integrating the Shockwave Power Reactor (SPR) into the Berkshire Biodiesel
facilities. BSG’s
professionals have over seventy years experience in providing technical
and management consulting in value-added agriculture, oil seed and grain
processing and the development of Bioenergy projects. BSG also has recent
design, construction oversight and operational support experience with
the SPR.

E3 Consulting
E3 is a strategic business advisory firm that focuses on providing independent
assessments of a wide variety of projects for owners, lending institutions
and equity investors. Berkshire Biodiesel engaged E3 to undertake a limited
technical review of the SPR reactor technology to be employed by Berkshire
Biodiesel as well as to provide a limited review of the qualifications
and experience of Biodiesel Services Group which is undertaking the process
engineering & design
work.

Fuss & O’Neill is leading the initiatives required to secure
all necessary permits and approvals for the project. Fuss & O’Neil
is a full service civil and environmental engineering firm with 300 employees

Foresight Land Services, Pittsfield, MA
Foresight is taking the lead role in the surveying and certain environmental
investigations required for the project in concert with Fuss & O'Neill
and will also lead the rail siding layout and design initiative, with the
support of EDM. Foresight is an engineering, surveying, planning and environmental

a wide range of services, including large-scale surveys throughout Massachusetts

Berkshire Biodiesel has engaged Barr & Barr as Construction Manager
(CM)
who will oversee and manage all aspects of the construction process, under
a CM-At-Risk Guaranteed Maximum Price contract. Barr & Barr is a full-service
construction management firm operating eight full-service offices located
throughout the Northeast employing over 300 experienced construction professionals,
including fully staffed in-house preconstruction and MEP departments. The
